Travel With Raelinn - Standard

Standard Travel Services

This option is for travelers who are pretty comfortable with international travel already but want basic planning and a few of my insider extras thrown into the mix.

I will take care of booking your accommodations and transfers along with one outing/tour/class per day, as well as one restaurant booking per day. I will, in addition, offer you my best recommendations so you can plan the remainder of each of your days to your heart’s content.

First, just as in step one of my Luxury Experiences, we’ll have a conversation via email where I’ll ask questions about you and your travel companions because this trip is all about you; and I want you to have an amazing and seamless experience. I’ll ask about things like your budget, your overall desires for your trip, your general interests like hiking or museums, how ambitious you are for packing in the sights or simply relaxing in a gorgeous setting.

Once I feel I have a good idea of what you’re looking for, I’ll send you my proposed general itinerary to make sure that we are all on the same page. I hope you will say, “she nailed it!” But if we need to, we will talk about things further or make a few changes until we get it just right. Once this is completed, you’ll have all the bones of the trip.

Then, once we’ve agreed and you’ve paid your deposit, I get into the fine details that really make the trip. I’ll arrange all of your transfers, starting with airport pickup and everything along the way. I’ll begin booking exactly the kind of accommodations you’ve always dreamed of, whether that’s a charming farmhouse, a luxury villa, 5-star resort, or a tiny, tucked away bed and breakfast or other needs like accessibility, all based on our previous discussions about your budget and personal preferences. At the standard rate, I send only accommodations with availability for your dates of travel, so it’s important that you’ve already booked your flight dates.

I do not book air travel at this level but am happy to point you to some amazing resources for self-booking or you can add on this service for a fee of $150 per person.

Then I get into my favorite part—eating and drinking! Whatever region(s) you visit, one of the greatest delights of traveling is the food and beverage. Based on the preferences I previously discussed I will book one restaurant/wine bar per day and one event/outing and recommend to you the most notable foods and wines of the regions, restaurants, cafes, wineries, wine bars, and even specialty food producers and cooking classes. Then I will book any other additional activities you choose: shopping, sailing, hiking, basking on the beach, you name it!

Before you leave for your trip, I will provide you with a handy checklist of important things to keep in mind along with pertinent general travel information and destination information… practical items like insurance, local customs, some helpful phrases, and what maps will be useful for you. I’ll also send you a full written itinerary that includes absolutely everything, all the details of your trip for each and every day. It will include confirmation of dates and times of hotels, all your transfers, any activities I’ve booked for you, dinner reservations. I’ll set up a phone call to go over all this information with you before you leave.

(You will not be charged at this time.)

Add Airfare

Air travel is not included in any of my travel services; however, as an add-on to the Standard Travel Services, I can book your airfare for you for an additional fee of $150 per person.
